Most of these pictures were taken with the Canon S2. These are some of the best shots of Fiona, and I'm proud of a few of them There are still challenges taking pictures of babies, no matter what equipment you have. Good lighting and framing are important. And it's really really hard to get her to sit still when she's happy, so unfortunately, the smiliest pictures tend to be a little out of focus and motion blurred.
The pictures below were taken with our Canon A400. We bought this because the Fuji FinePix 2400, which had been gradually falling apart over the years, finally lots one of the hinges on the battery compartment lid. The A400 is a decent point-and-shoot camera, and it only cost about $150.
